Yogi Adityanath Flags Off ‘Run for Cooperation Marathon’ in Lucknow

On January 26, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the ‘Run for Cooperation Marathon’ in Lucknow as part of the International Cooperative Year 2025. The marathon aims to highlight the importance of cooperation in strengthening community ties and fostering collective growth.
Sharing his enthusiasm on social media platform X, CM Adityanath expressed his commitment to the cause by stating, “The ‘Run for Cooperation’ marathon was launched today in Lucknow as part of the International Cooperative Year 2025.”
In addition to the marathon, the Chief Minister also marked the inauguration of significant infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing storage capacity in the state. Two warehouses, each with a capacity of 15,000 metric tonnes in Manjhanpur, Kaushambi district, and 5,000 metric tonnes in Hariharpur, Sultanpur, were unveiled under the Private Entrepreneur Guarantee (PEG) scheme. These warehouses are set to play a crucial role in improving the logistics and storage of essential commodities, providing a boost to the local economy and ensuring better accessibility for farmers.
CM Adityanath emphasized the value of cooperation as a fundamental element of India’s identity. He further reiterated that fostering cooperation across sectors will help realize the vision of a ‘self-reliant India.’ Expressing his optimism for the future, the Chief Minister extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes for the beginning of the Cooperative Year, stressing the need to make cooperation a part of everyday life for the prosperity of the nation.
