New Delhi, May 7, 2025 — After a targeted military response against terror hubs in Pakistan, Indian authorities have begun informing and updating influential global nations about the recent developments. The outreach includes countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The Indian leadership emphasized that the action, known as Operation Sindoor, was a decisive countermeasure against terrorism following a deadly attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 innocent lives.
Government sources revealed that the strike specifically aimed at dismantling infrastructure used by militant groups operating from across the border. The Indian defense establishment has underlined that this operation was a calibrated response, rooted in national security priorities.
Responding to the situation, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a statement noting that Washington is paying close attention to the rising tension between India and Pakistan. He reaffirmed the U.S.’s commitment to regional stability and called for calm dialogue. “We are closely following the situation and encouraging both governments to move toward peaceful resolutions,” Rubio said via a post on social media platform X.
