Elon Musk has lashed out at The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, accusing their journalists of spreading false claims about him. In a defiant post on X, Musk wrote that these “fake journalists lied through their teeth” and challenged them to reveal their own drug tests.
To back his words, Musk shared an official drug test report showing he tested negative for all 17 substances, including cocaine, marijuana, fentanyl, and amphetamines. The test was conducted at a certified lab in Austin, Texas.
The move is Musk’s way of publicly clearing his name and confronting media criticism head-on. The fallout between Musk and major news outlets appears to be deepening, as he continues to reject what he sees as dishonest reporting.
