Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Odisha on Friday, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for infrastructure projects worth an estimated ₹18,700 crore. The announcement was made by the office of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, highlighting the importance of the visit in the context of state and central government achievements.

According to official sources, the Prime Minister’s trip coincides with the completion of 11 years of the Central Government’s tenure and the one-year milestone of the newly formed state government in Odisha. As part of the celebrations, PM Modi will also unveil the “Odisha Vision 2036-2047” booklet, outlining long-term development goals for the state.

During his visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to participate in a major event in Bhubaneswar, where he will chair a state-level program marking the first anniversary of the current Odisha administration. This visit underscores the Centre’s ongoing commitment to inclusive and sustainable development in the region.

Additionally, PM Modi will lead a mass yoga demonstration to mark the International Day of Yoga, emphasizing the integration of wellness initiatives alongside developmental goals.

The Prime Minister’s visit is part of a broader two-day tour covering multiple states, including Odisha and Bihar.
