Trump Warns GOP of United Democratic Front, Slams Biden Policies and Urges Republican Unity

In a fiery message on Truth Social, former President Donald Trump sounded the alarm for Republican lawmakers, urging them to recognize the intense and unified opposition they face from Democrats. He described the current Democratic leadership as “evil, corrupt, and policy-wise incompetent,” accusing them of prioritizing partisan goals over the welfare of the nation.
Trump warned that Democrats are aiming to impose what he called the “Biggest Tax Hike in History”—a staggering 68% increase—and accused them of deliberately pushing for open borders by refusing to fund border security. He also expressed concern about what he sees as a weakening of the U.S. military under the current administration. Referring to recent actions taken against Iran, Trump argued that such decisive operations would not be possible under a “defunded and weakened” military force.
The former president also criticized his own party for lacking the cohesion of their Democratic counterparts. “They don’t have grandstanders,” Trump noted of the Democrats, praising their ability to vote in unison. In contrast, he lamented that Republicans have never managed to fully unite as a bloc, which he believes hinders their effectiveness in Congress.
He pointed out the institutional advantages that Democrats enjoy in Congress, such as rules that concentrate power in the hands of their leadership and committee chairs. Trump called on Republicans to adopt a similar level of discipline and organization, emphasizing that GOP policies are strong enough to win elections consistently—if the party can stay focused and united.
Despite the criticism, Trump concluded with a hopeful message, stating that the Republican Party is filled with “wonderful people and phenomenal policy.” According to him, these strengths are more than enough to secure victory—if only Republicans can come together as a team.
