Traffic Advisory Issued for Goods Vehicles Entering Delhi During Independence Day Events

The Gautam Buddh Nagar Traffic Police has announced traffic restrictions for heavy, medium, and light goods vehicles entering Delhi ahead of Independence Day celebrations and related events.
According to the advisory, the movement of such vehicles into Delhi will be restricted for security reasons from 10:00 PM on 12 August 2025 until the conclusion of the Independence Day Full Dress Rehearsal on 13 August 2025, and again from 10:00 PM on 14 August 2025 until the conclusion of Independence Day celebrations on 15 August 2025.
During this period, goods vehicles traveling towards Delhi from Gautam Buddh Nagar must use alternative routes as follows:
- Vehicles from Chilla Red Light (border) – Turn back from Chilla Red Light and take Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, then use Eastern Peripheral Expressway to proceed towards their destination.
- Vehicles from DND Border – Turn back from DND Toll Plaza and take Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, then use Eastern Peripheral Expressway to continue their journey.
- Vehicles from Kalindi Kunj Yamuna Border – Diverted at Yamuna River underpass and sent towards Noida–Greater Noida Expressway via Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
- Vehicles from Yamuna Expressway – Take Noida–Greater Noida Expressway and proceed towards Eastern Peripheral Expressway via Zero Point, Parichowk, Pi-3, Kasna, and Sirsa.
- Vehicles from Parichowk – Follow the Pi-3, Kasna, Sirsa route to Eastern Peripheral Expressway to reach their destination.
