Jaishankar Discusses Regional Developments with Kuwait FM, Stresses Safety of Indian Community

India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar held a telephonic conversation with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, focusing on the evolving situation in the Gulf region and its broader implications.
During the discussion, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister briefed his Indian counterpart on the latest developments within Kuwait and the surrounding region. The exchange comes at a time when geopolitical tensions in parts of the Middle East have raised concerns about regional stability and the safety of expatriate communities.
Dr. Jaishankar underlined India’s deep concern over the recent escalation and emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the Gulf.
