Can the repressive policies of the military lead to peace in Sudan? If yes, it can happen everywhere. It should be understood that attacking civilians is not the right way to bring peace. This leads to chaos and deepens the gap between civilians and the military and due to which the conflict is likely to increase further.
A tragic incident struck a village in Sudan’s Gezira province. Several people were killed and dozens injured in an attack by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on Wednesday.Mini Arko Minawi, governor of Darfur province, said on Wednesday that women and children were also among the victims of RSF attacks on Wad al-Noura village in Gezira.A grassroots group formed to protect people in Wad Madani, the capital of Gezira, said on social media at night that the paramilitary force, which has been fighting the Sudanese army for more than a year, used heavy artillery to attack the village. The Madani Resistance Committee, which has also been threatened and attacked by the RSF before, accused the paramilitary forces of looting during the attacks, which it said began on Wednesday morning. If the Sudan government wants a stable government and the love of the people, then it should win the hearts of the people by behaving in harmony and in a friendly manner and solve any problem by talking to them. Attacking civilians is not the solution to any problem. This can make the problem even more serious.
