Just a 1 degree increase in temperature can bring a lot of changes in the world so it is a serious issue. Though at first they might not appear significant, as the temperature increases the changes will become more evident and hazardous.
Global weather patterns are the most clear method they would demonstrate their influence. Particularly in the tropics, more and more regularly would larger and stronger heat waves strike warmer regions. Rising humidity brought on by more water draining lakes, rivers, and seas would alter the way it rains and snows. While some areas might have protracted droughs, others might get more rain. For instance, whereas Southeast Asia and the Amazon rainforest would flood more regularly and with more force, Australia and the African plains would have extended droughs.
The problems will worsen as the temperature rises. Rising sea level would follow from accelerated melting of the glaciers and Arctic ice caps. Along low-lying areas and near the shore, flooding, erosion, and seawater entering freshwater supplies would be more common. People would have to abandon their homes, hence amenities would suffer and clean water would be lost. Then it would be obvious how it would damage habitats and species. Many types of plants and animals would struggle to adapt to the greater temperature. This would force them to migrate, therefore wiping off populations. Certain species may go extinct. Furthermore upsetting the delicate equilibrium of food chains, the alterations to the surroundings may have consequences for entire ecosystems not predicted. Coral areas would perish and bleach; birds and other animals would struggle to follow their usual paths.
After that, things would deteriorate for businesses’ health as well as for individuals. Rising temperature will bring more diseases, heat discomfort, and other health problems. The economy would be much changed by infrastructure destruction, increased healthcare and emergency reaction expenses, and less activity in many places. For instance, farming would be much affected, leading to food shortages and price increases. Variations in the temperature could also affect sectors including tourism and recreation.
Given the still rising temperature, things will get worse. World supply chains and food output would suffer, therefore aggravating food poverty and economic instability. Stronger natural disasters occurring more frequently would tax emergency resources and relief aid available worldwide.
