Union Minister for MSME, Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Minister of State (MSME), Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, opened a new skill development training programme at NSIC Technical Service Centre (NTSC) in Okhla, New Delhi in a notable step to promote entrepreneurship and skill development. The occasion signalled a fresh chapter in government initiatives to empower the backbone of the Indian economy—the MSME sector.

With an eye towards rural businesses, the programme seeks to provide entrepreneurs with the tools and expertise they need to excel in their particular industries. Top authorities attended the inauguration event including Dr. S.S. Acharya, CMD, NSIC, Shri S.C.L. Das, Secretary (MSME), and Smt. Mercy Epao.

The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NSIC and M/s Drone Destination, which seeks to include advanced drone technology training into the skill development initiatives, was a main feature of the event. This action is supposed to provide MSMEs a competitive advantage in a fast changing technology scene.

New skill development training courses, meant to provide entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge required for success, also debuted at the event. The initiatives are a first step towards realising the government’s aim of building a strong environment that supports innovation and talent development.

Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi underlined in his speech the need of empowering rural businesses to guarantee overall expansion of the MSME sector. Sushri Shobha Karandlaje underlined the significance of building a conducive environment that promotes talent and invention.

The event also included a display of goods from businesses profiteers of NSIC’s training courses. The ministers engaged the business owners, praising their achievements and inspiring them to keep coming up with ideas.

All things considered, the new skill development programme marks a major step towards enabling business owners and strengthening the MSME sector. The initiative is projected to benefit the Indian economy with its emphasis on rural businesses and advanced drone technologies training.
