Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi Leads Strategic Review of KVI Sector and Prepares for Grand Khadi Mahotsav 2024
In a landmark initiative aimed at revitalizing the Khadi and Village Industries (KVI) sector, Union Minister for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, conducted a comprehensive review meeting to assess the sector’s performance and finalize preparations for the upcoming Khadi Mahotsav, 2024. The event is scheduled for October 2024 and is being organized by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) to promote Khadi on a national scale.
The meeting, which took place on August 31, 2024, was attended by Minister of State for MSME, Ms. Shobha Karandlaje, and prominent officials including Shri Manoj Kumar, Chairman of KVIC. Also present were the Secretary of MSME, the Joint Secretary (ARI) of MSME, the CEO of KVIC, and other senior officials from both the Ministry of MSME and KVIC.
