Israel’s “With the Lion’s Roar” Operation Marks a Turning Point

In a recent, powerful address to the nation, Prime Minister Netanyahu—echoing his ancestral pride—announced the dramatic results of Operation “With the Lion’s Roar.” Initiated as a bold and rapid response, this mission targeted Iran’s nuclear and missile infrastructure, altering the regional strategic balance.
According to the Prime Minister, Israeli forces neutralized two immediate existential dangers: Iran’s nuclear arms and an arsenal of over 20,000 ballistic missiles. In a single, precise strike, Israel eliminated top military leadership—including three generals—and several leading nuclear scientists believed to be driving Tehran’s atomic and missile ambitions.
Key facilities in Natanz (uranium enrichment), Isfahan (uranium conversion), and Arak (heavy water production) were demolished. Additionally, with assistance from former President Trump and U.S. military support, even the deeply buried Fordow uranium site was dismantled. Israeli UAV and intelligence teams reportedly wiped out Iran’s production lines for centrifuges and destroyed missile stockpiles and launchers—often just minutes before deployment.
Furthermore, Israeli operatives dismantled Tehran’s high-security archives on nuclear research—records that had previously been seized by Mossad—and crippled Iran’s missile and Revolutionary Guard infrastructure, including bases and regional command hubs. The Prime Minister asserted that this “one of the most decisive blows ever delivered to Iran” included eliminating hundreds of regime operatives just hours before a ceasefire.
Netanyahu expressed profound gratitude to U.S. President Trump and the American forces that participated, stating, “Never before has Israel had such a capable ally in the White House.” He believed this operation offers long-term security benefits not only for Israelis but for future generations and for a stabilizing Middle East.
Reflecting on the trauma of October 7, he noted the nation’s collective recovery and its recent dominance over Iran’s skies. Nonetheless, he stressed that the government would remain resolute—not allowing momentum to falter until Hamas is defeated and kidnapped hostages are returned, whether alive or fallen.
He expressed solidarity with victim families and pledged comprehensive rehabilitation, including rebuilding homes destroyed by rockets. The PM also thanked the IDF, Mossad, IAF, Shin Bet, intelligence, emergency services, and government ministers, saying, “Every Israeli can stand tall today: Together we accomplished the unimaginable. With the roar of a lion, the people of Israel live—and, God willing, everlasting Israel will endure.”
