APEDA settlers First Export of Fig Juice to Poland [ Hit And Hot News ]
The Agricultural and Reused Food Products Export Development Authority( APEDA) has achieved a notable corner by easing the first- ever import of ready- to- drink fig juice from India to Poland. This significant payload, which features fig juice made from the GI- tagged Purandar Figs, was dispatched on August 1, 2024, from Hamburg harborage in Germany, marking a corner achievement for Indianagro-products on the transnational stage.
The commencement of this fig juice import began at the APEDA Pavilion during the SIAL 2023 trade fair held in Greater Noida, New Delhi. The event served as a pivotal platform for introducing this innovative product to global requests. The fig juice, produced by Purandar Highlands growers Patron Company Ltd., entered substantial attention and accolades at the show, farther solidifying its eventuality in the global request.
Since the original import of fresh GI- tagged Purandar Figs to Hamburg in 2022, APEDA has been necessary in supporting smallholder growers and advancing the import of their yield. This new fig juice product, which is under provisional patent, represents a significant advancement in agrarian invention.
The fig juice also made its mark at the Macfrut 2024 exhibition in Rimini, Italy, with APEDA’s support enhancing its transnational visibility. Positive responses from global buyers, including an inquiry from MG Deals SP in Wroclaw, Poland, crowned in this major import.
