Narendra Modi Cabinet 2024
After the 2024 elections, Narendra Modi has formed a new cabinet for his third term. This time, the BJP has formed the government with its allies, including the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Janata Dal (United) (JDU), Shiv Sena, and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP).The BJP has retained four key ministries – Home, Finance, Defence, and External Affairs – while ministries such as Education and Culture have also been taken over by the BJP. Allies may get five to eight cabinet posts.This cabinet also includes some new faces, such as Ram Mohan Naidu of TDP, Lalan Singh, Sanjay Jha, and Ram Nath Thakur of JDU, and Chirag Paswan of LJP. Apart from this, senior leaders like Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh will also retain their place in the new cabinet.The formation of this new government under the leadership of Narendra Modi adds a new chapter to Indian politics, where coalition politics and the role of allies have become even more important. The formation of this cabinet strengthens the spirit of partnership and consensus in Indian democracy.
