The incident occurred on Friday morning along Sukhumvit Road. According to local emergency information, the worker fell into a drainage opening approximately two to three metres deep while carrying out work beneath the elevated railway station.

Bangkok’s emergency services received the incident report at around 7:04 AM, following which firefighters and rescue personnel were dispatched to the location. Rescue teams entered the drainage area and began efforts to locate and retrieve the worker.
