Delhi Police Arrest Two Alleged Himanshu Bhau Gang Operatives, Foil Targeted Killing Plot
The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested two alleged members of the Himanshu Bhau gang in a major crackdown on organised criminal activities. Their arrests reportedly helped prevent a planned targeted killing in the Delhi-NCR region.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Mursaleen, alias Gullu, aged 25, from Loni in Ghaziabad, and Naveen, aged 29, from Bhiwani, Haryana.
According to police officials, both suspects allegedly played important roles in supporting the gang’s criminal operations, including arranging money transfers, supplying weapons and helping shooters avoid arrest.
Pistol and Ammunition Recovered
Police arrested Gullu on October 11 and recovered a pistol along with three live cartridges from his possession.
During questioning, he allegedly disclosed that he had established contact with two suspected sharpshooters associated with the gang in Visakhapatnam in January 2026.
Investigators claim that he subsequently became involved in facilitating financial transactions and arranging fake identity documents to help gang members secure hotel accommodation.
Police further alleged that after the gang’s sharpshooters were arrested in August, Gullu was being prepared for a more direct operational role as a shooter.
Second Suspect Arrested in Haryana
Following information obtained during Gullu’s interrogation, investigators traced Naveen to Bhiwani and subsequently arrested him.
According to police, Naveen allegedly provided his bank account to facilitate financial transactions for gang members before becoming involved in transporting weapons.
Investigators also found that both suspects had allegedly maintained communication with gang leadership through secure internet-based messaging applications.
Police Disrupt Gang’s Financial Network
Delhi Police officials said the arrests exposed aspects of the gang’s alleged recruitment and operational structure.
Investigators believe that criminal leaders operating from abroad used local associates to arrange weapons, transfer funds and provide logistical assistance to shooters.
Police said the operation has disrupted important financial and logistical links within the alleged criminal network and helped prevent a planned targeted attack.
Further investigation is underway to identify additional associates and establish the full extent of the network’s activities.
