Police Warn Public Against Distraction Scams
The case highlights how criminals can allegedly use staged arguments and sudden distractions to steal valuables in crowded public places.
Police have advised commuters to remain cautious when strangers demand money over alleged accidental damage. People should keep cash and personal belongings secure, avoid making immediate payments under pressure, and contact the authorities if they suspect a scam.
The investigation is continuing as police examine the suspects’ possible involvement in other cases.
