Students Urged to Move Forward with the Spirit of “Nation First”

Boudh, Odisha, September 25: The district-level Seva Sankalp Abhiyan-2026, organised by the Boudh District Education Department, was held with enthusiasm at the PM SHRI Government Girls’ High School in Boudh. The programme was conducted under the chairmanship of District Education Officer Temlal Dubey, with emphasis on developing patriotism, a spirit of service and a sense of responsibility towards the nation among students.

Additional District Magistrate Aniruddha Pradhan attended the programme as the chief guest and highlighted the importance of the principle of “Nation First”. He stressed the significant role of the younger generation in nation-building and urged students to imbibe the values of discipline, service, responsibility and patriotism along with their academic education.

Kandhamal MP’s representative Jugal Kishore Samal, Additional District Education Officer Chudamani Barik, District Information and Public Relations Officer Bidyapati Panda and Headmaster of the host school Purnachandra Samal were present on the dais as distinguished guests.

On the occasion, students selected from different blocks of the district participated in drawing and elocution competitions and showcased their talents. The successful participants were felicitated with certificates and trophies.

A drawing exhibition on the theme “My Dream India” was also organised by students from various schools. The exhibition reflected the creativity, aspirations and ideas of the students regarding the future of the country.

Presiding over the programme, District Education Officer Temlal Dubey congratulated the successful participants and conveyed his best wishes to them for the upcoming state-level Seva Sankalp Abhiyan-2026. The Additional District Education Officer explained the objectives and significance of the programme.

CRCC Satyanarayan Sahu conducted the proceedings of the programme, while Harabhanga ABEO Kartikeshwar Nayak proposed the vote of thanks.

Retired Headmistress Padmaja Pati, PGT Odia teacher of Birnarasinghpur Higher Secondary School Phanibhushan Biswal and Headmaster of Laxmipadar Upper Primary School Pradeep Mahanti served as judges for the competitions.

Students, teachers and staff members from various schools across the district attended the programme.

At the conclusion of the event, the guests participated in the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign and planted saplings on the school premises, conveying a message of environmental protection and conservation.

The programme concluded successfully with the active cooperation of all teachers, teaching staff and employees of the host school.
