India is preparing to host the 16th edition of Aero India, one of the country’s biggest international aerospace and defence exhibitions, in Bengaluru next year.

The Ministry of Defence has announced that Aero India 2027 will take place from February 8 to 12, 2027, at Air Force Station Yelahanka in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Registration Opens on September 3
According to the government announcement, online registration for exhibitors and visitors, along with booking of exhibition space, is scheduled to begin on September 3, 2026.
A dedicated online portal has been developed to make participation and related services easier for companies, exhibitors and visitors.
Major Global Aerospace Platform
Aero India is regarded by the Indian government as one of Asia’s major air shows and an important international platform for the aerospace and defence industry.
The event provides an opportunity for defence manufacturers, aviation companies, technology firms and other industry participants to showcase products, technologies and capabilities.
Bengaluru to Remain the Host City
The upcoming exhibition will again be held at Air Force Station Yelahanka in Bengaluru. The city has emerged as an important centre for India’s aerospace, aviation and technology sectors.
The event is expected to bring together industry representatives and other stakeholders from India and abroad.
Focus on Aerospace and Defence
Aero India has become an important part of India’s efforts to promote its domestic aerospace and defence capabilities. The exhibition also provides opportunities for international companies to engage with India’s rapidly developing defence and aviation ecosystem.
The 2027 edition is therefore expected to attract attention from companies and organisations involved in aircraft, defence systems, aerospace technology and related industries.

With registrations and exhibition-space bookings scheduled to open on September 3, preparations for Aero India 2027 are moving into a new phase.
The five-day event in February is expected to provide a major platform for showcasing aerospace and defence technology while supporting business and industry engagement.
