Khamenei Proclaims Strategic Wins Over U.S. and Israel, Celebrates Iran’s National Unity

TEHRAN – Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has issued a series of assertive statements celebrating what he describes as major strategic victories over both the United States and Israel. Shared across his official social media platforms, the declarations present Iran as a resilient power that has successfully challenged Western influence and strengthened internal solidarity.
In his remarks, Khamenei referred to a “second round of congratulations” directed at the Iranian people for what he called a “clear victory over the American regime.” He asserted that the United States had anticipated a collapse of the Israeli state through direct confrontation, but according to him, Iran emerged stronger, having delivered a “significant and reciprocal blow” to Washington’s regional influence.
Khamenei’s rhetoric suggests a reframing of recent regional tensions, portraying Iran not as a reactive player but as one that has dictated the terms of engagement and resisted external pressures. He stated that the Islamic Republic came out of the conflict “victorious,” emphasizing strategic patience and military readiness.
In a separate statement, the Supreme Leader offered “third congratulations” to the Iranian population, praising what he called an “unparalleled demonstration of unity.” He highlighted the role of the country’s nearly 90 million citizens who, he said, stood united in support of the armed forces. This unity, he claimed, was instrumental in navigating recent crises and projecting strength to the outside world.
One image released alongside his messages illustrated a boot crushing a skyline, symbolizing the downfall of Israel, with missiles flying overhead. A quote over the image read: “The Zionist regime, despite all its claims and noise, was brought to its knees under the blows of the Islamic Republic.”
Taken together, these remarks and visuals reinforce a narrative of Iran as both defiant and victorious, seeking to boost domestic morale while sending a clear message of deterrence to its adversaries.
