India and Sri Lanka Conclude 11th Air Staff Talks, Strengthening Defence Ties

The 11th edition of Air Staff Talks between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) concluded successfully in New Delhi on June 27, 2025. Held over two days beginning June 26, the high-level dialogue marked a significant advancement in the strategic defence partnership between the two nations.
The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation through various dimensions, with a particular emphasis on strengthening joint training programs. These exercises aim to improve interoperability and prepare both air forces for coordinated responses to evolving regional security dynamics. Conducting joint drills will enhance mutual understanding and operational synergy.
A critical theme throughout the talks was the mutual exchange of expertise. Both air forces recognized the value of sharing operational experiences, technological insights, and best practices, fostering professional growth and innovation within their respective ranks.
