Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has reaffirmed her commitment to America’s veterans following a recent meeting with members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in California. Pelosi described the gathering as an important opportunity to hear directly from veterans about their needs and experiences.

In addition, Pelosi pledged to strengthen oversight against so-called “claim sharks” — predatory businesses that exploit veterans by charging excessive fees for assistance with benefits claims.
