Kyiv, Ukraine – In a recent briefing, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Vasyl Maliuk presented a comprehensive report highlighting the remarkable success of the Service’s ongoing combat operations. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky praised the efforts of the SBU’s special units, emphasizing their growing role in both offensive and defensive missions amid escalating Russian attacks.

According to the report, the SBU’s long-range drone and missile operations have shown significant improvement in both accuracy and effectiveness. These Ukrainian-made long-range systems have not only targeted deep Russian positions but have also successfully destroyed multiple Russian air defense systems, marking a strategic advantage for Ukraine on the modern battlefield.

President Zelensky expressed his gratitude to all personnel involved in these missions, particularly commending the Center of Special Operations “A” — an elite SBU combat unit renowned for its precision operations and high-risk missions. The President acknowledged that this special operations unit is currently playing a vital role in defending the Pokrovsk sector, an area facing relentless Russian assaults.

“Russian troops have been ordered to storm our positions at any cost,” Zelensky noted. “But our defenders are holding strong. The losses on the Russian side have increased drastically due to the professionalism and bravery of our Security Service warriors.”

Recent figures released by the SBU underline this statement. In the Pokrovsk sector alone, the Center of Special Operations “A” has been eliminating more than 100 Russian occupiers per day, a staggering rate of attrition for Russian forces. Over the past month, this unit has neutralized 3,028 enemy combatants, with each elimination verified through official military procedures.

Beyond the battlefield, the Security Service continues its critical role in counterintelligence operations. Vasyl Maliuk confirmed ongoing efforts to dismantle Russian espionage and sabotage networks operating within Ukraine. The SBU has intensified its campaign to neutralize Russian agents, preventing infiltration and information leaks that could jeopardize Ukraine’s defense operations.

Furthermore, Zelensky has approved a series of strategic operations designed to weaken Russia’s overall military potential, signaling a proactive stance in Ukraine’s broader defense strategy. These operations are expected to continue targeting key logistical, intelligence, and communication nodes vital to Russia’s war efforts.

The report reflects not only Ukraine’s resilience but also its technological evolution in modern warfare. The development and deployment of long-range drones and precision missiles showcase Kyiv’s growing capacity to counter Moscow’s military advantage through innovation and determination.

As Ukraine continues to face immense challenges on the frontlines, the dedication and results achieved by the Security Service’s special units stand as a testament to the nation’s will to defend its sovereignty.

“Glory to Ukraine!” — the message concluded, echoing the spirit of resistance that continues to define the Ukrainian struggle against Russian aggression.
