Brussels – July 2025 — The European Commission has officially concluded negotiations on a forward-looking trade agreement with Ukraine, establishing a robust, reciprocal, and enduring economic framework. This landmark deal, framed within the ongoing conflict triggered by Russia’s invasion, signifies not only economic solidarity but also a deepened commitment to Ukraine’s European trajectory. Labeled as a “long-term, predictable, and reciprocal” trade arrangement, the agreement offers Ukraine a crucial foundation for economic recovery and future growth.
