World Bank Approves $1.16 Billion for Bangladesh’s Health, Sanitation, and Climate Adaptation
The World Bank has approved $1.16 billion in financing for three major projects aimed at improving health services, expanding water and sanitation access, and promoting greener, climate-resilient development in Bangladesh. This funding reflects the global institution’s continued commitment to supporting Bangladesh’s progress toward sustainable growth and environmental resilience.
Confronting Pollution and Climate Challenges

1. Bangladesh Green and Climate Resilient Development Credit (USD 500 million)
