Two-Day Arthroplasty Course in Lucknow Draws Doctors from Across the Globe

The Uttar Pradesh Arthroplasty Society is organizing a two-day arthroplasty course in Lucknow, starting on December 21. Scheduled to conclude on December 22, the course aims to provide advanced training in joint replacement techniques. The event is expected to witness the participation of approximately 300 doctors from India, Nepal, Malaysia, the Philippines, and other countries.
Dr. Amal Shankar Prasad, Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Arthroplasty Society, shared details about the event, emphasizing its focus on equipping doctors with knowledge about the latest innovations in joint replacement surgery. The training sessions will not only cover advancements in the field but also provide hands-on experience to surgeons.
Dr. Prasad highlighted the society’s longstanding commitment to advancing medical education in arthroplasty, noting that their efforts have spanned decades. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the society continued its mission by transitioning the course to an online format.
This year, the course will feature Dr. Pushkar Bhide from Germany, a renowned expert in joint replacement surgery. Dr. Bhide will lead fellowship training sessions for the selected surgeons, offering invaluable insights into the latest surgical techniques and methodologies.
The event marks another milestone in the society’s mission to improve joint replacement procedures and train surgeons to achieve better outcomes for patients worldwide.
