Netanyahu Visits Kibbutz Nir Oz, Pledges Support and Rebuilding Amid Tragedy

Nir Oz, Israel – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Kibbutz Nir Oz, a southern Israeli community that has endured significant destruction and trauma. During the visit, he met with survivor families, victims, and returning residents, vowing to restore the kibbutz and support those affected by recent attacks and devastation.
Standing among the ruins of homes and public spaces, Netanyahu acknowledged the immense loss and pain the community has suffered. “Before the scenes of slaughter and destruction, and in the face of the courage and resilience of the survivors and returning families, I witnessed true heroism,” he said.
The Prime Minister emphasized his deep commitment to the recovery and rehabilitation of Nir Oz. He assured residents that all those displaced or harmed would be supported and that the government would work swiftly to restore the kibbutz to its former state. Netanyahu stressed the importance of rebuilding without bureaucratic delays to bring back daily life and a sense of normalcy to the region.
He also reflected on the emotional impact of his visit and reaffirmed his dedication to the community’s full restoration. “We will return everything. Everyone. And we will bring them back,” he stated.
Concluding his visit, Netanyahu invoked a biblical blessing for the people of Israel and for Nir Oz itself, saying, “May God give strength to His people, may He bless His people with peace. May He bless Nir Oz – with hope.”
The visit comes as part of a broader effort by Israeli leadership to demonstrate solidarity with communities impacted by conflict and violence, and to reinforce national resolve in the face of adversity.
