According to local sources, the incident began when police personnel stopped a young man riding a motorcycle and issued a challan for violating traffic rules. The challan, reportedly related to riding without proper safety compliance, was issued more than once, which allegedly angered the youth.

The situation escalated when the individual, said to be associated with the electricity department, visited the nearby police outpost and raised questions about the legality of its power connection. During the inspection, it reportedly came to light that the outpost was operating without a formally approved electricity connection.
