ASEAN Leaders Discuss Planetary Health and Future Cooperation in Jakarta
A meaningful exchange on regional cooperation and sustainability took place at the ASEAN Secretariat on 5 March 2026, when Deputy Secretary-General for Community and Corporate Affairs Nararya S. Soeprapto welcomed renowned humanitarian leader Jemilah Mahmood for a courtesy meeting.
Professor Tan Sri Dr. Jemilah Mahmood, Executive Director of the Sunway Centre for Planetary Health and recipient of the prestigious ASEAN Prize in 2019, visited the Secretariat to discuss ways to strengthen collaboration in areas that support the long-term goals of the ASEAN community.
