The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to inaugurate the fourth edition of the Space Science and Technology Awareness Training (START 2026) programme on 11 March 2026 at 3:00 PM (IST). The event will be officially launched by V. Narayanan, who currently serves as Chairman of ISRO and Secretary of the Department of Space.

START is an online initiative designed to increase awareness and knowledge of space science and technology among students and educators. Through this programme, participants gain exposure to fundamental and emerging topics in the space sector, helping them better understand the scientific and technological advancements driving modern space exploration.

The programme reflects ISRO’s continued commitment to encouraging young minds to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and space research. By offering lectures, expert sessions, and interactive learning opportunities, START aims to strengthen India’s future talent pool in the space domain.

The inaugural session will be livestreamed, allowing students, researchers, and space enthusiasts from across the country to watch the event and learn about the objectives and opportunities offered by the training programme.

Through initiatives like START, ISRO continues to play a key role in promoting scientific curiosity, space education, and technological innovation among the next generation. 🌌
