The statement, released by the Omani Foreign Ministry, expresses deep concern over the rapidly deteriorating security situation and urges all involved parties to halt military actions immediately. Labeling the escalation as both “unacceptable and deplorable,” Oman voiced particular concern over the violation of sovereignty, especially considering the impact on a member state of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The Sultanate warned that such aggressive actions contradict the values of good neighborly relations and risk plunging the region into deeper instability. "The consequences of continued hostilities," the statement read, "will lead to increased destruction, deteriorating humanitarian conditions, and the collapse of regional security and development frameworks." Oman stressed that the violence is not only harmful to diplomatic ties but also detrimental to the well-being of the region’s civilian population. In a clear expression of solidarity, Oman reaffirmed its unwavering support for Qatar, asserting that every sovereign nation has the right to safeguard its territorial integrity and national interests. Oman also called for an immediate end to all military and missile operations, emphasizing that continued aggression serves only to deepen regional divides.
