What was once considered a future concern has now become a reality that is already impacting housing, livelihoods, and ecosystems across coastal regions. The growing risks in the South-West Pacific emphasize the urgent need for global cooperation, increased funding for climate adaptation, and immediate policy action to support communities already affected by environmental shifts.
