Chitrakoot: Three Arrested with Illegal Liquor, 10 Liters of Raw and 15 Quarters of Country-made Liquor Seized

In Chitrakoot, under the direction of Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Singh, the police have arrested three individuals as part of an ongoing campaign to curb the production and sale of illegal liquor. During the operation, a total of 10 liters of raw liquor and 15 quarters of country-made liquor were seized.
In the Sardhuwa police station area, Sub-Inspector Chandramani Pandey and his team arrested Kapendra Kumar Dwivedi, a resident of Sadasani, Kamasin Police Station, Banda district, with 15 quarters of country-made liquor. Similarly, Saraiya outpost in-charge Shyam Dev Singh apprehended Chhota Kol, a resident of Rukmakhurd, Bahilpurwa Police Station, with 5 liters of raw liquor. Additionally, Saraiya outpost Sub-Inspector Saurabh Gautam and his team arrested Shivphool, a resident of Rukmakhurd Belauha Purwa, Bahilpurwa Police Station, with 5 liters of raw liquor.
Cases have been registered against all the accused under the Excise Act at the respective police stations. This strict action by the police has intensified efforts to curb illegal liquor trade in the region. The local administration has assured that the campaign will continue to fully clamp down on the illegal liquor business in the district.
