Uttar Pradesh Government Accelerates Infrastructure Push, Directs Fast-Track Approval of Development Projects
Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has intensified its focus on infrastructure development, with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directing officials to expedite the processing and approval of development proposals submitted by public representatives across the state.
During a high-level review of ongoing infrastructure initiatives, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to establish clear priorities among the proposals received from elected representatives. He instructed concerned departments to finalize action plans at the earliest and submit them to the state government so that approvals can be granted by the end of the month and implementation work can commence without delay.
The directive reflects the government’s broader objective of accelerating infrastructure growth and ensuring that development projects reach the ground quickly. Officials have been asked to assess proposals based on urgency, public utility, and regional requirements while maintaining transparency in the approval process.

The government has also placed special emphasis on flyover construction projects aimed at easing urban traffic congestion and improving connectivity between key economic and residential zones. Officials were instructed to ensure that proposals related to accident prevention, traffic management, and safer road infrastructure receive timely consideration.
