As India prepares to celebrate International Yoga Day on June 21, the momentum around the ancient wellness tradition continues to grow. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma took a proactive lead by organizing a yoga session at his official residence in Jaipur, encouraging citizens across the state to make yoga a part of their daily lives.
Joining schoolchildren, fitness trainers, and officials, Sharma personally participated in the session and shared his message online, urging people to embrace yoga for overall physical and mental well-being. He emphasized that yoga is more than just exercise — it is a discipline that brings balance, mental clarity, and positive energy to everyday life.
“Yoga enhances health, brings balance, and fills life with positive energy. I appeal to all residents of the state to practice it regularly,” he said in his post.
Meanwhile, Visakhapatnam is preparing for a spectacular celebration that could make history. The city is all set to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will lead a mass yoga session with over 2.5 lakh participants along its scenic 2.5-kilometer coastal road. The event aims to set a world record for the largest synchronized yoga demonstration at a single location.
Organizers are working around the clock to finalize arrangements for what promises to be a landmark moment in global wellness history. With India reaffirming its position as the spiritual and cultural home of yoga, the upcoming International Yoga Day stands as a powerful message of health, unity, and peace.
