New Delhi, June 24, 2025 — Indian budget airline IndiGo has begun a careful and phased resumption of its flight operations to the Middle East following a temporary suspension prompted by regional instability. The airline emphasized a “prudent and progressive” approach, ensuring passenger safety as conditions gradually improve.

In a public statement, IndiGo highlighted that they are continuously monitoring developments and evaluating the safest air routes. “We are resuming our Middle Eastern operations in a phased manner as airports in the region slowly reopen,” the airline announced via a post on X (formerly Twitter).

The airline further stated that passenger security remains the top priority and urged travelers to stay informed through IndiGo’s official app and website for real-time updates.

Earlier, IndiGo had halted flights to and from major Middle Eastern cities, including Doha, Dubai, Dammam, Bahrain, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Madinah, Muscat, Sharjah, Jeddah, Riyadh, Tbilisi, and Ras Al-Khaimah. This move was in response to the volatile situation in the region, which had disrupted aviation operations across several countries.

As tensions ease and airspace conditions stabilize, IndiGo’s gradual resumption brings a sense of relief for passengers affected by cancellations and delays, marking a cautious return to normalcy in international travel corridors.
