FAO Releases September 2026 Update of Sustainable Development Goal Indicators
Global Development: The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has released its September 2026 update of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) indicator data, providing new information for tracking progress on food, agriculture, natural resources and related development targets.
The data release was presented on September 16, 2026, as part of FAO’s regular statistical update programme. The September release includes a partial update for SDG indicator 5.a.1, which focuses on women’s ownership and control of agricultural land.
Data Available at Global, Regional and Country Levels
The updated information is available through FAOSTAT, the FAO SDG Indicators Data Portal and the FAO DATA Explorer. These platforms allow users to examine and download statistics across different geographical levels.
