India, U.S. Reaffirm Commitment to Counter Terrorism Following Pahalgam Tragedy

After the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, which led to the loss of civilian lives, India received strong support from the United States. In a recent high-level interaction, the American defence leadership reached out to New Delhi to express solidarity and deep condolences.
The U.S. defence official conveyed heartfelt grief over the innocent lives lost and strongly denounced the act of violence. Assuring India of continued strategic cooperation, the U.S. emphasized its commitment to standing shoulder to shoulder with India in its ongoing efforts against terrorism.
During the exchange, India’s Defence Minister raised serious concerns about Pakistan’s involvement in nurturing terrorism. He pointed out Pakistan’s continued role in aiding, training, and financing extremist groups that pose threats to regional peace.
The Indian side further urged the international community to take a clear and firm stand against such attacks. It was emphasized that strong and united global condemnation is crucial to isolate terrorism and hold those accountable who support it in any form.
