Boudh, November 6, 2026: In a major boost to rural education in Odisha, the foundation stone for the Godabarish Mishra Model Primary School was virtually laid by the Chief Minister at Ambajhari village in Boudh district. The initiative aims to strengthen primary education by providing children with improved school infrastructure and a better learning environment.

The programme was attended by Boudh Collector Bibhuti Bhushan Nayak as the Chief Guest. District Education Officer Temlal Dubey, along with Jugal Samal, Priyadarshi Pratyusha Rath, Ambajhari Sarpanch Prema Bag, Samiti Member Chhail Behera and CRCC Gangadhar Sahu, were also present.

Government Chief Whip and Boudh MLA Saroj Pradhan attended the event and motivated students to pursue their studies with commitment, confidence and enthusiasm. He highlighted the importance of education in shaping children’s futures and contributing to the development of society.

The meeting was chaired by school Headmaster Jagneswar Mishra, who presided over the proceedings in the presence of local representatives, education officials and community members.

The proposed model primary school is expected to offer better educational facilities and a more supportive atmosphere for young learners. The project is also aimed at encouraging school enrolment, developing children’s interest in learning and creating greater awareness among parents about the importance of quality primary education.

The establishment of the institution is being viewed as an important step towards improving educational opportunities in rural areas. With better infrastructure and learning facilities, the initiative is expected to support the academic growth of children and contribute to the overall development of the region.

During the programme, Santosh Kumar Karna introduced the dignitaries and guests, while the vote of thanks was delivered by him, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful organisation of the event.
