Two Men Killed in Early-Morning Crash in North York
Two men have died following a single-vehicle collision in North York early Saturday morning,

Toronto police said the crash happened shortly after 4:30 a.m. near Finch Avenue West and Romfield Lane, west of Keele Street. A vehicle left the roadway and struck a traffic-light pole in the area.
Emergency crews were called to the scene after the collision. Despite the response, two occupants of the vehicle were pronounced dead.
Police investigators remained at the location as they worked to establish exactly what led to the crash. The circumstances surrounding the vehicle’s movement before it struck the pole were not immediately clear.
The collision occurred during the early morning hours, when traffic volumes are generally lower than during the daytime. Investigators are expected to examine the vehicle, the roadway and other available evidence as they piece together the events leading up to the fatal impact.
