Gympie Man Charged Over Alleged Dangerous Driving Incidents
Gympie, Australia: A 32-year-old man has been charged with multiple offences following a Queensland Police investigation into two separate alleged dangerous driving incidents in Gympie.

Police allege that the incidents occurred within a day of each other and involved two different vehicles.
Pedestrian struck in first incident
According to police, shortly after 11 p.m., a silver Kia Carnival was travelling along Duke Street near Iron Street when it allegedly moved onto the footpath and struck a 45-year-old pedestrian.
The injured man was able to make his way home and contacted emergency services.
He was later taken to Gympie Hospital for treatment. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
E-bike rider allegedly targeted
The second incident allegedly occurred the following morning on Lawrence Street.
Police said a 43-year-old man was riding an electric bicycle when a white Nissan X-Trail allegedly swerved towards him, causing him to fall from the bike.
The vehicle then allegedly left the area.
The cyclist was not physically injured in the incident.
Two people charged
After continuing their investigation and appealing to the public for information, police attended a residence in Norman Street.
Officers located a 32-year-old Gympie man who police allege was the driver involved in both incidents.
A 33-year-old woman who police allege was a passenger in the Kia during the earlier incident was also charged.
The woman faces an allegation of committing an act intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
Man faces multiple charges
The 32-year-old man has been charged with 13 offences.
The charges include an allegation of an act intended to cause grievous bodily harm, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and three counts relating to driving without a licence, along with other offences.
Both matters are now moving through the Queensland court system.
The accused man is due to appear before Gympie Magistrates Court, while the woman is scheduled to appear at a later hearing.
Investigation continues
