Saudi Arabia Expands Digital Government Services as 62 Agencies Complete Tawakkalna Integration
Saudi Arabia has reached a major milestone in its digital-government programme after 62 government entities completed the integration of their services into the national Tawakkalna application.
The achievement was announced on September 1, 2026, during a ceremony held alongside LEAP 2026 in Riyadh. Officials said the integration fulfilled the country’s 2026 target at 100 percent, bringing the total number of government services available through the unified platform to 926.
926 services available through one platform
The integration is designed to make government services easier to access for citizens, residents and visitors.
Instead of requiring users to navigate multiple government systems, the expanded Tawakkalna platform provides access to hundreds of services through a single digital interface.
Saudi authorities said the initiative reflects stronger coordination among government agencies and aims to create a more efficient and seamless digital experience.
Government agencies complete 2026 target
According to the National Information Center, the completion of service integration by the 62 entities allowed the government to reach its 2026 integration target in full.
Technical teams worked on software integration, quality testing and other preparations to ensure services could be transferred to the platform without disrupting users.
The achievement demonstrates the government’s broader push to connect public-sector systems and reduce fragmentation in digital services.
Digital transformation takes centre stage at LEAP 2026
The announcement comes during LEAP 2026, one of Saudi Arabia’s largest technology events.
The Digital Saudi Exhibition at LEAP is showcasing digital-government initiatives, artificial intelligence applications and emerging technologies from more than 40 government entities. The exhibition also features new digital products, platforms and cooperation agreements.
Saudi Arabia has also highlighted the use of technology in security and public services. The Interior Ministry is presenting systems using data, artificial intelligence and digital solutions to improve emergency response, road safety, security monitoring and decision-making.
A wider push toward digital government
The Tawakkalna milestone is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader digital-transformation strategy under Vision 2030.
The country has been investing heavily in digital infrastructure and government technology, with authorities seeking to make public services faster, more integrated and easier to access.
The latest development shows how Saudi Arabia is moving from individual digital services toward a more connected national ecosystem in which citizens and residents can access a growing range of government services from a unified platform.
As digital adoption continues to expand, the integration of hundreds of additional services could reduce administrative complexity and further strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position as a regional leader in digital government.
